Mariana Barrios, LEED-AP
Mariana received her degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she holds her current professional license.
Mariana worked with several prestigious architecture firms in Buenos Aires, gaining experience in a wide variety of projects including international airport terminals, institutional buildings, corporate offices, recreation, entertainment and health-care facilities, multi-family residences, commercial developments and master planning.
Mariana has over 14 years of extensive architectural and design experience in Argentina, in all phases of planning, design and construction documentation, and project management and construction administration for a wide range of building types.
Through her practice, she was responsible for management and implementation of design solutions for projects with complex program requirements, tight delivery schedules and established budgets.
With her experience in leading project teams, Mariana has a demonstrated ability in work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and precision. Mariana’s large experience in concrete type projects, her comfortable working in both imperial and metric units and her fluency in English and Spanish, makes her an essential asset for international project teams.
Mariana's expertise is mainly in major renovation and historical preservation projects.
She moved to California in 2006, when she joined Kodama Diseno Architects and Planners as a project designer until she started her own design practice in 2008.
